Compact Housing Retroreflective ; Diffuse Scan. Can be installed where space is the limiting factor but the versatility of a barrel sensor is still required. Available in either NPN or PNP complementary (SPDT) outputs. Incorporated in this is the ability to use the N/C output as an N/O alarm output. The alarm output operates when the sensor ‘s excess gain in the light condition becomes marginal (drops to 1-1.5x). The load for both outputs must not exceed 150mA. The fixed field units compare the reflection of the sensor ‘s emitted light beam from an object to two differently aimed detectors in the sensor head.
