Features

• This is a prism with a sharp finish of the right edge sandwiching the bottom of two sides by polishing.
• Since the right-angled ridge is not chamfered, the line of the right-angled ridge becomes very thin when peeking from the slope side, and you can observe the natural reflection image without any seam.
• The width of the right-angled ridge is so narrow and straight that it can be used as a reference line in an observation system.
• Total reflection at the critical angle is obtained when using light with an incident angle of 0±5.7 degrees for the slope.
• * The knife edge of the right-angled ridge is very easy to chip, so please handle it carefully so that it does not come into contact with anything else.
• * The knife edge cannot be wiped with lens paper.
• * Use an air blower to blow out the garbage before use.
• * Since the measured A dimension includes a chamfer, it is slightly shorter.
• * The tolerance is defined by the sides of the triangle formed by the slope and the two bases.
• * Reflectivity above the critical angle is about 100% reflection, but there is a loss of about 8% due to reflection of the entrance/exit face of the prism.
• * Fingerprints or dirt on the uncoated surface may prevent total reflection even if the angle is higher than a critical angle.
• * Do not let the no-coat surface come in contact with anything.
