Features
- This is the shortest polarizing prism.
- The transmission loss is low, and a high extinction ratio of 5×10^-5 or less can be obtained.
- Calcite type for use in the visible to infrared region and α-BBO crystal type for use in the ultraviolet region are available.
- The two prisms are joined with a slight gap (air gap).
- This does not cause absorption due to adhesion or decrease in the laser resistance.
- The surface of the polarizing prism is coated with a single layer of antireflection film to provide high transmittance.
- Gran laser prism GLPB/GLPC and Wollaston prism WPPB/WPPC for high power laser are also available.
- Please check the allowable angle if necessary.
- * When the incident angle changes, the extinction ratio of the linearly polarized light of the transmitted light also changes.
- * All light that does not pass through the Granthaler prism is absorbed and scattered on the side of the device.
- * For high-precision measurement systems, it is necessary to block light scattered on the side of the device with pinholes.
