Features

• This is the shortest polarizing prism.
• The transmission loss is low, and a high extinction ratio of 5×10^-5 or less can be obtained.
• Calcite type for use in the visible to infrared region and α-BBO crystal type for use in the ultraviolet region are available.
• The two prisms are joined with a slight gap (air gap).
• This does not cause absorption due to adhesion or decrease in the laser resistance.
• The surface of the polarizing prism is coated with a single layer of antireflection film to provide high transmittance.
• Gran laser prism GLPB/GLPC and Wollaston prism WPPB/WPPC for high power laser are also available.
• Please check the allowable angle if necessary.
• * When the incident angle changes, the extinction ratio of the linearly polarized light of the transmitted light also changes.
• * All light that does not pass through the Granthaler prism is absorbed and scattered on the side of the device.
• * For high-precision measurement systems, it is necessary to block light scattered on the side of the device with pinholes.
