• It is a precision polished aspheric lens which can focus the beam to almost the diffraction limit when a plane wave is injected.
• It is used when the light of a semiconductor laser is made to be parallel light or when the parallel light is concentrated in a fiber.
• Increasing the NA (numerical aperture) enables efficient light harvesting.
• Available in the AGL-EA/AGL-GA series with a shape error of 0.1 μm or less and the AGL-EB/AGL-GB series with a shape error of 0.5 μm or less.
• A lens holder (LHF-S, LHA) is provided for fixing the lens.
• * The aspherical lens has a light incident direction.
• * Be sure to allow parallel light to enter from a convex surface.
• * When parallel light is incident from the plane side, the spherical aberration becomes large and light cannot be condensed.
• * When using at wavelengths other than the design wavelength, spherical aberration occurs, and the condensing spot cannot be narrowed to the diffraction limit.
• * This precision polished aspheric lens is not an achromatic lens.
• * The focal length (back focus) will change when the watch is used with a wavelength other than the total wavelength.
• * Since the lens is not coated with an anti-reflection film, the transmittance of the lens is less than 85% due to the loss caused by reflection of the front and back surfaces of the lens.
