• ACS723 Breakout Board
• ACS723 is a Hall effect current sensor made by Allegro MicroSystems. The voltage corresponding to the AC/DC current flowing through the hole connected to the IP+/IP- pin on this board is output. The advantage of using Hall effect sensors is that the circuit being sensed and the circuit reading the sensor are electrically separated.
• The current sensor breakout board can measure DC and AC currents up to 5 A and has a basic sensitivity of 400 mV/A.
• The analog output of the ACS723 can be up to 80 kHz, but this board is set to 20 kHz to reduce noise when used at high gain. The full bandwidth of 80 kHz can be recovered by closing the JP1 (bandwidth selection) jumper on the back of the board.

• *The ACS723 can insulate up to 2.4 kV (RMS), but the board is not designed for these high voltages.
