• This is a low drop out (LDO) regulator. (Output 3.3 V, 2 A Type) A type of three-terminal regulator that can operate from a lower input voltage than standard three-terminal regulators by keeping the operating voltage of the built-in transistor that controls the output voltage low. In general, the LDO oscillates more easily than the standard three-terminal regulator due to the characteristics of the circuit configuration, and an output capacitor must be installed as a countermeasure. See the data sheet for capacity and notes. This product has TO-220FP package and heat dissipation tab is insulated. Can be used by screwing directly to the radiator, but use silicone grease or silicone rubber sheet to increase heat conduction.

• The internal circuit has an LDO configuration and operates even if the input/output voltage difference is small.
• LDO is a bit delicate in setting the load capacity.
• The output current is determined by the input/output voltage difference and the heat dissipation condition regardless of the upper limit value on the data sheet. Refer to the datasheet for details.
• Fully molded package can be attached directly to the chassis. Insulation sheets are not required.
