• This adapter is used to secure an outer diameter mirror that is not suitable for a kinematic mirror holder (MHG).
• When the adapter is attached to the kinematic mirror holder (MHG), it is designed so that the end face of the mirror frame is aligned with the end face of the adapter.
• However, the reflective surface of the mirror is located 1 mm inside the adapter end face.
• The adapter uses a holding method that secures the mirror sides in three places.
• Secure the mirror to the adapter before attaching the adapter to the mirror holder.
• If you attach the adapter to the mirror holder first, you cannot secure the mirror.
• Because the mirror frame abuts on the back side of the mirror, the position of the reflecting surface changes as the mirror thickness changes.
