• It is a JIS standard objective lens used in a microscope for teaching materials.
• Because of its short focal length and high NA, it can be used to make a laser beam a divergent beam.
• Because it is used in a microscope, chromatic aberration is corrected in the visible range (400~700 nm).
• The OBL-40 and OBL-60 have a structure in which the tip of the lens retracts with a spring when the tip of the lens collides with the glass slide.
• OBL is a finite objective lens that can form a magnified image without an imaging lens.
• When attaching to a microscope, use a finite lens barrel with a mechanical length of 160 mm.
• The distance from the torso of the objective lens to the image plane is 150 mm.
• An objective lens (OBL) is used in a special filter (SFB) to correct wavefront distortion of a laser beam.

• A holder (LHO) for securing the objective lens is provided.
• An adapter (TAT-18OA) is also provided for use in the cross-motion holder (TAT).
• * Do not use with high power laser.
• * This objective lens is a finite system.
• Using an infinite lens barrel can cause problems with focus and resolution.
• Aberration and transmittance are reduced at wavelengths other than the visible range.
