• A Polka Dot Beam Splitter is a beam splitter in which a glass substrate is coated with aluminum with dots (polka dots).
• It has little incidence angle dependence and can be used in a wide range of wavelengths from the ultraviolet to the infrared.
• The reflectivity ratio is adjusted by the area ratio of the coated points.
• Unlike dielectric type beam splitters, there is little change in the reflection transmittance ratio when the incident angle is changed.
• Available in 2 types with outer diameters of φ25.4 mm and φ50.8 mm, and 3 types of reflection transmittance ratios of 7:3, 5:5, and 3:7.
• * When the laser beam with high interference is used, diffraction occurs.
• * When light is incident on the camera, scattered light is produced by the dot.
• * Transmittance at 45 degrees is expressed as the average value of P-polarized light and S-polarized light.
• * Due to the effect of the refractive index and thickness of the substrate, the optical path of the transmitted light is translated by several millimeters relative to the incident light.
• * If the incident beam diameter is very small, it may not separate according to the division ratio.
• * Do not wash with water or solvent. May cause surface deterioration.
• * Use in an environment that is low in dust and does not dew.
• * If dust or dirt adheres to the instrument, do not blow on it and blow it off lightly with dry air.
