• A beam splitter that changes the light divergence ratio between transmittance and reflectivity by changing the incident angle.
• It can be used when external light quantity adjustment is required for a laser without variable light quantity adjustment or a stabilized laser, when light quantity is temporarily reduced by optical system adjustment, or when the laser beam is divided into any two light quantities at the transmission/reflection branch.
• A variable attenuator (SVAB) for lasers is also available, which is unitized using this variable beam splitter.
• * When using for high power laser, make sure to terminate the reflected light.
• * Reflectivity characteristics may change when the device becomes hot.
• * When the incident angle is changed to adjust the transmittance, the amount of translation of the transmitted light beam also changes.
• * Use a compensation plate (WSQNA/WBNA) to restore this translation.
• * If a laser beam of φ30 mm or more is injected and the beam splitter is tilted significantly, the output beam may be missing.
• * When used with P-polarized light, an incidence angle greater than 45 degrees is required.
