• Polarizer with higher laser resistance for high-power lasers and high-energy pulsed lasers.
• The transmission loss is low, and a high extinction ratio of 5×10^-5 or less can be obtained.
• Calcite type for use in the visible to infrared region and α-BBO crystal type for use in the ultraviolet region are available.
• The two prisms are joined with a slight gap (air gap).
• This does not cause absorption by the adhesive or decrease in laser resistance.
• The Gran laser prism is enclosed in a metal frame.
• Polarization components that do not pass through the prism pass through the ports (holes) of the metal frame and out of the frame.
• Since there are two ports, you can use them even if you change the input/output direction.
• The surface of the Gran laser prism is coated with a single layer of anti-reflection film to provide high transmittance.
• We also have the Granthomson Prism GTPB/GTPC and the Wollaston Prism WPPB/WPPC with wide tolerance angles.
• Please check the allowable angle if necessary.
• * When the incident angle changes, the extinction ratio of the linearly polarized light of the transmitted light also changes.
