• The Centrifuge 5430 and Centrifuge 5430 R combine the small footprint of a microcentrifuge and the multifunctionality of a multipurpose centrifuge. You can certainly use the 1.5/2.0 mL tube rotors and PCR tube rotors used in microcentrifuges, but that's not all. The Centrifuge 5430/5430 R is compact and can be used with microplate rotors and 15/50mL conical tube rotors. The rotor lineup has been expanded to include several Eppendorf QuickLock ® rotors. 48 rotors for 1.5/2.0 mL tubes, 16 rotors for Eppendorf Tubes ® 5.0 mL, 24 swing rotors for 1.5/2.0 mL tubes, etc. The Centiruge 5430 and Centrifuge 5430 R are the flagship Eppendorf microcentrifuge models.
