• The SR clutch is a clutch that provides a single or integral rotation from the continuously rotating outer ring (drive side) to the inner ring (load side) by a simple lever operation.
• The mechanism in which the inner and outer rings meet enables highly reliable and accurate timing operations that cannot be achieved with clutches such as friction, ratchet or pin key mechanisms.
• Since the inner surface of the outer ring (drive side) is a true cylinder, the inner and outer rings are engaged or disengaged instantly when the ON/OFF command is given by the lever.
• There is no slip at all because the roller wedges between the outer and inner rings.
• Since the OFF position is always constant, errors in the stop position do not accumulate.
• A large number of rollers handle the torque, there is little wear between parts, and a long life can be expected due to the high-precision finish.
• SR series (indirect type): Models that can be adapted to a wide range of operating conditions.
• SRD series (direct type): economical model suitable for loads with flywheel effect like small power press.
