• The IKA Screening System is a multi-channel constant current electrolyzer.
• The reaction proceeds simultaneously in up to 6 divided cells. In addition, it can be used in combination with other experimental equipment.
• Split cells are used in the Reaction block.
• A split cell consists of two reaction blocks and requires separate electrodes.
• The two reaction blocks are connected by a glass frit. This allows the reaction solution to remain separated even after the electrolytic reaction and prevents the oxidized solution from mixing with the reduced solution.
• Split cells are useful for products that are unstable with respect to the opposite pole.
