It is used for the in vitro inhibition zone determination method, and the resistance record obtained enables the selection of rational and selective chemotherapy. The discs are impregnated with chemotherapy drugs, placed on agar plates containing pathogens, and the size of the inhibition zone is measured to determine the effect of the drugs.
