• This device is used to illuminate light with non-uniform luminance distribution and uniform luminance distribution.
• Use to convert illumination optics for image processing or Gaussian profiles to top-hat profiles.
• The hexagonal prism type has higher uniform efficiency than the square prism.
• The compact 30 mm type and the more homogeneous 75 mm are now available.
• Material is available in BK7 for visible to near infrared and synthetic quartz for ultraviolet light.
• We have 2 types with opposite sides distance of 5 mm and 10 mm.
• A special adapter (LPH-ADP) for attaching a light pipe to a lens holder or mirror holder is available.
• * Since total reflection is applied to the side surfaces, if fingerprints or dirt are attached to the side surfaces, the reflectivity may be extremely poor, and the luminance distribution of the emitted light may be uneven.
• * Cannot be used with collimated light.
• * Use the camera with a large light incident on it.
• * Anti-reflection film is not applied on both sides.
• * For this reason, 7~8% transmittance loss occurs due to reflection (4%) at both ends.
