• The fθ lens is used for two-dimensional scanning of a laser beam using a galvanomirror or polygon mirror.
• It is used for bar code readers, laser marking, and laser micromachining.
• Converts the isokinetic rotation of a mirror, such as a galvanomirror, to the isokinetic linear motion of a spot moving on the focal plane using the lens distortion effect.
• A telecentric type is also available that can irradiate perpendicular to the focal plane.
• We provide fθ lenses for YAG laser fundamental (1064 nm) and harmonic (266 nm, 355 nm, 532 nm) and CO2 laser (9.3~10.6 μm).
• * The fθ lens is designed for scanning optics and is not recommended for use in imaging systems.
• * Position the beam scanning system (galvano-mirror) according to the position of the entrance pupil of the fθ lens.
• * When the beam scanning system is not in the position of the entrance pupil, the aberration becomes large and a good light collection spot cannot be obtained.
