Residual chlorine in drinking water and pool water can be easily measured to help with sanitation management.
The colorimetric plate is removable to remove dirt, cloudiness, etc., and replaceable.
* This is a simple measurement method based on a reaction that reacts specifically when DPD reagent is added to water containing residual chlorine and shows a light red-purple color depending on the amount of residual chlorine.
* Reagent addition is done once (twice with optional potassium iodide for total residual chlorine measurement).
* A measuring instrument that can distinguish free residual chlorine from total residual chlorine.
* When used together with potassium iodide reagent (sold separately), total residual chlorine can be measured, and the combined residual chlorine concentration can be determined from the difference between total residual chlorine concentration and free residual chlorine.
* Application: For water quality management of tap water, swimming pools, public baths and dialysis water (total residual chlorine).
* * We may not be able to measure water samples that contain many interfering substances, such as hot spring water or seawater.
