• Test kit for food inspection using DNA probe method.
• We detect food poisoning bacteria using a DNA probe method that detects bacteria-specific regions of ribosomal RNA.
• It can be judged by the naked eye without using a special machine.
• The test can be performed from a single sample, and the specificity and concordance rate with conventional methods are high, enabling efficient testing.
• This test kit was jointly developed by the Central Research Institute of Japan Flour Milling Co., Ltd. and the JA All Agriculture and Livestock Hygiene Research Institute.
