- [Ball Coupling]
- Ball couplings are rotation-transmitting elements that combine the functions of universal joints and splines.
- The ball coupling consisting of three elements, an inner hub, an outer hub and a ball, has been patented for its functional structure.
- There are no size restrictions, so there are many possibilities from micro to large couplings.
- Compared to the size of the outer shape, the transmission torque, especially the damage torque, is large, so the device can be miniaturized.
- Since there are no basic restrictions on the material of the hub and ball, it can be used in water, oil, high temperature and low temperature vacuum.
- Couplings of declination angle and eccentricity (spline) amount can be designed to suit the required use in actual production.
- We can expect future developments in such fields as micro-robots, automatic machines, packaging machines, and large industrial machines.
- High speed and high rigidity servo support can also be considered.
