• [How to use]
• ① -1. Remove dust, oil, rust, mold, tar, wax, and old coating film from the surface to be applied, and dry the wood as much as possible. For areas with a lot of tar, thoroughly wipe off the tar with lacquer solution.
• ① -2. Perform the backing treatment in accordance with the following precautions for backing treatment.
• ② We will mask the areas where the paint will stick. (Because the paint is permeable, the paint may bleed from the edge of the masking tape.)
• ③ Before opening the lid, shake the container well and mix the paint well. Put your hand on the lid, insert a flat head screwdriver between the lid and the container and open it. Stir the paint thoroughly from the bottom with a stick to make it even. Please note that the lid may open vigorously.
• ④ Without diluting, use a brush for varnish and stain and apply it along the grain so that it absorbs well. After drying for 1~3 hours in summer and 2~4 hours in winter, apply 1 more coat and finish by 2 coats. (The color will be light the first time, but if you apply it twice, the color will become darker and slightly glossy.)
• ⑤ The paint is adjusted so that it can be applied without being diluted, but if the viscosity is too high to apply, please dilute it slightly (within 5%) with water.
• ⑥ Even if the surface of the wood is smooth, some parts of the wood may become rough on the painted surface after the first coating has dried sufficiently. In this case, after the first coat has dried sufficiently, apply sandpaper (about # 320) lightly before applying the second coat for a smooth finish.
• ⑦ When painting a wide flat surface, you can paint quickly and cleanly by using Kotebake.
• ⑧ Remove the masking tape as soon as you finish applying.
