Small screw-in type oxygen detector and indicator are suitable for measuring oxygen in pipe piping and equipment.
The MG1000 series is a wall-mounted oximeter that uses a limit-current zirconia oximeter. It is a digital oximeter that can measure oxygen concentration from a low concentration as an oxygen-deficiency meter or oximeter, with various alarm functions as well as display of measured values.
High performance and small size.
Uses long-life zirconia oxygen sensing element to maintain high precision and excellent reproducibility.
Equipped with analog output and alarm relay output as standard.
Two models are available: a built-in detector and a separate detector.

Stabilized zirconia is known as an oxygen ion conductor.
The stabilized zirconia is used as a substrate, and a platinum electrode and an oxygen diffusion limiting hole are formed on one surface of the substrate, and a platinum heater is formed on the other surface.
In order to obtain practical oxygen ion conductivity, the substrate is heated to several hundred °C by energizing the heater. When a voltage is applied between the electrodes, a current with oxygen ions as carriers flows through the substrate.
Due to the oxygen diffusion limiting hole formed on the cathode, the amount of oxygen flowing into the cathode is limited, and a flat region (limit current) is observed in the current-voltage characteristics.
Since the limiting current varies in proportion to the oxygen concentration, it is possible to determine the oxygen concentration in the atmosphere by measuring the limiting current.
