Many famous Knifes were created, but the master craftsman "Seki no Magoroku" devised his own unique Knifes and introduced to the world the finest works of art with excellent sharpness. From the Edo period to the Meiji period, many of the Knife craftsmen in Seki shifted their business to making household blades. The belief that Seki's Knifes were praised as "cut well without bending" has been carried firmly into modern cutlery making.
• The inscription of this product "Seki Magoroku" is by the 27th generation Kanemoto, the master of the Knife, Kinseki Roku, and the sharpness of the Knife is passed down to the present day while making use of the skills of the master craftsman.
