Pin-to-pin mapping from the Ultra-Fit receptacle connector to the Ultra-Fit PCB header provides out-of-the-box plug-and-play connectivity. The Ultra-Fit receptacle connector has a polar and keyed housing that prevents misalignment during engagement. When the connector is engaged, the positive-block latch clicks to indicate that the connection is secure. This positive locking feature prevents accidental disengagement of the engaged connector due to impact, vibration, or catching of the wire. The terminals of these Ultra-Fit conduct-to-board cable assemblies are fully insulated within the housing to prevent arc discharge and damage to the terminals during handling and mating. The terminal interface has six independent contacts that provide redundant secondary paths that provide excellent electrical reliability and performance over time.
