• The Schneider Electric XUSL4E Type 4 Safety Light Curtain is designed for finger detection of workers near hazardous machinery. The transmitter-receiver system provides a protection height of 1210 mm for 120 light beams. The PFHD reliability data is 2.73 x 10 -2. The aluminum case and built-in LEDs provide a local signal and a clear indication of device status. It can be used as a stand-alone sensor (without a safety control unit) or in combination with an appropriate safety control unit. Operating temperature range is -20 to +55 °C. The detection distance for wiring can be selected from 0 to 3 m or from 1 to 6 m.
