• The Schneider Electric XUSL4E Type 4 safety light curtain is designed for manual detection of workers near hazardous machinery. This transmitter-receiver system delivers 13 light beams with a protection height of 260 mm. The PFHD reliability data is 8.06 x 10 - "see" 1. The aluminum case and built-in LEDs provide a local signal and a clear indication of device status. It can be used as a stand-alone sensor (e.g. without a safety control unit) or in combination with an appropriate safety control unit. It has two solid-state PNP safety outputs (OSSD), conforming to EN/IEC61496-1, EN/IEC61496-2, category 4, performance level PL e, SIL 3. The operating temperature range is from -30 to +55 °C.
