- Since the drying shelf can be both cooled and heated, the sample container can be pre-frozen and freeze-dried simply by setting it on the shelf.
- Both cooling and heating of the shelf are heat medium circulation type. Compared to heater heating and cooling piping systems, uniform temperature distribution can be obtained.
- There is no heater part on the shelf, so you don't have to worry about a ground fault even if you wash the shelf with water.
- Pre-freezing and freeze-drying can be performed in the drying chamber, making it less sensitive to room temperature and enabling better freeze-drying.
- It has a safety device against abnormal shelf temperature rise.
- In the FD-550P type, the sublimation latent heat applied to the sample can be programmed in advance to obtain appropriate parameters for the purpose. It is effective for checking moisture content and survival rate of bacteria. In addition, the vacuum degree, shelf temperature, and sample temperature can be recorded. It can also be used as an experimental machine for setting conditions during intermediate plant migration.
- The FD-550P type can be programmed to adjust the drying time so that the crystal size of the sample can be adjusted to suit the purpose. In addition, the freeze-drying process proceeds according to the program, so that highly reproducible drying processing can always be performed.
