64-5679-40 [Discontinued]4-circuit low-noise JFET input operational amplifier DIP TL071CP
Spec
- TI's TL07x series is one of the earliest monolithic JFET input operational amplifiers.
- It was developed by TI at the time when TI (Texas Instruments) and NSC (National Semiconductor) were competing for supremacy long before the merger. The LF356 of NSC, developed at the same time, is the standard JFET input type, and the TL07x series is equally popular. While the LF356 was a full-fledged industrial type with a two-stage differential amplifier configuration, the TL07x series was a popular type with JFET replacing the first stage of the general-purpose operational amplifier NJM4558 (RC4558), which was on its way to a big breakthrough at the time, and was used for audio and other applications. The TL07x series was said to be a low noise type compared to the TL08x series of the same TI, but there is no difference in the current data sheet. (In older semiconductor products, differentiation such as ranking is often eliminated due to technological advances.)
