- Vertical Light Guides, 1 Row - Round. This family of vertical light guides, from MENTOR, consist of one row of light pipes. The round heads are available in 2 mm, 3 mm or 5 mm diameters and are parallel to the printed board on the front panel. This range of light guides is available in single modules or multiple arrays with up to 20 sections. Some of these light guides use a light diffusing cover to prevent radiation when using a combination of different colours. Vertical light pipes are designed for use with surface mount (SMD) LEDs and are fitted to the circuit board using push-fit lugs. The light pipe inject face sits in close proximity to the LED on the board.. Features of the vertical light guides: Round heads 1 x rows Ambient temperature: -40°C to +85°C
