Features
- This is a low drop out (LDO) regulator.
- It is a type of three-terminal regulator that can operate from a lower input voltage than a standard three-terminal regulator by keeping the operating voltage of the built-in transistor that controls the output voltage low. In general, LDO oscillates more easily than the standard three-terminal regulator, and it is necessary to install an output capacitor as a countermeasure. See the data sheet for capacity and notes. This product has TO-220FP package and heat dissipation tab is insulated. Can be used by screwing directly to the radiator, but use silicone grease or silicone rubber sheet to increase heat conduction.
