  • Sigfox is a telecommunications company and communications standard established in France in 2009. It is one of the low power wide area (LPWA) communications systems that realize low-speed, low-capacity, low-cost, low-power, long-distance communications. The Sigfox Shield for Arduino is an Arduino Uno-compatible shield equipped with an acceleration sensor (MMA8451Q) and a temperature/humidity/pressure sensor (BME280) for immediate use as an IoT device. It also features two GROVE connectors (I2C interface and analog input/output) for easy expansion.
  • Sigfox's communication standards allow IoT devices to periodically send small amounts of data for as little as a few hundred yen per year.
