特徴

• It is widely used in the world as filter paper for blotting, Southern, Northern, Western blotting and electrophoresis. Relatively thick filter paper with moderate wet strength and smooth surface.

• Water absorption rate: If the thickness of the filter paper and the amount of solute spot are constant, the slower the water absorption rate, the higher the separation capacity.
• Thickness: As the sample volume is increased or the concentration is increased to increase the amount of solute spots, the separation ability of chromatography paper decreases. In this case, if thick filter paper is used, the decrease in separation ability will not be noticeable unless the change in water absorption speed is considered. Therefore, grade 3MMChr is recommended when the amount of solute spot is large.
• Base weight: The amount of sample you can spot is proportional to the base weight. Therefore, the higher the base weight, the more spots you can make.
