- Using a compact high-performance DC motor, an encoder, and an actuator with a high-resolution gear head connected to a lead screw, this automatic positioning micrometer head enables smooth and nearly vibration-free movement.
- It is compatible with the micrometer heads used for the company's manual stages and can be easily automated.
- Since the limit origin has a built-in micro photo sensor, positioning in microns is possible.
- Since the encoder is set to the front of the motor, not the rear of the motor, the backlash and lost motion of the gear head are not counted in aggregate.
- Precision polished lead screws minimize backlash.
- Extension cables for optomics (SOM-BCA5: 5 m cable length, SOM-BCA10: 10 m cable length are also available.
- Be sure to purchase and use an optomic-only controller (OMEC-2BG/4BG) separately.
- There are two types of the tip shape of the optomic, flat type and R type. (R type at the end of the part number) * * Use the supplied nut to secure the unit.
- * Be careful not to use a set screw or the like from the side (Unnecessary load, tightening) as it may cause malfunction.
