• The surface quality is one rank lower than that of a spherical concave lens (SLB-N).
• Use for optical systems that do not require high surface quality such as lighting or observation applications.
• Other than surface quality, the specifications are almost the same as the Spherical Concave Lens (SLB-N).
• I recommend this lens unless you want to use it for high-precision experiments with lasers.
• There are two types, a flat concave lens with low spherical aberration and a biconcave lens with large refraction and short focal length.
• In addition to the no-coat product, three types of lenses with anti-reflection film are available in the visible, near-infrared and infrared ranges.
• * Spherical biconcave lenses have chromatic aberration, and the focal length depends on the wavelength.
• * The transmittance of the uncoated product is about 90% due to the loss caused by the reflection of the front and back of the lens.
• * The concave outer edges are chamfered.
• * For this reason, the thickness may be smaller than the designed thickness (te).
