特徴

  • By making the convex surface of the plano-convex lens aspherical, a short-focus lens with low spherical aberration has been realized.
  • It is used to narrow down the illumination light or to collect the light that emanates from one point efficiently.
  • It can be used in a wide range from the visible range to the infrared range with a wavelength of 1.5 μm.
  • There are 2 types: AGL-31.7P with reduced spherical aberration by BK7 plano-convex lens and AGL-12P with high NA using high refractive index glass (FDS90).
  • Using a special polishing device, it is processed into an aspherical shape.
  • Sink marks and scratches caused by pressed products do not occur.
  • * When parallel light is incident from the back (plane) side, spherical aberration is large and light does not converge to one point.
  • * Since an aspherical plano-convex lens is a single lens, the focal length varies depending on the wavelength.
  • * Since the lens is not coated with an anti-reflection film, the transmittance of the lens is less than 90% due to the loss caused by reflection of the front and back surfaces of the lens.
