Features
- A beam splitter that changes the light divergence ratio between transmittance and reflectivity by changing the incident angle.
- It can be used when external light quantity adjustment is required for a laser without variable light quantity adjustment or a stabilized laser, when light quantity is temporarily reduced by optical system adjustment, or when the laser beam is divided into any two light quantities at the transmission/reflection branch.
- Since dielectric multilayer film is used for the coat, it has excellent light resistance and durability.
- The beam shift caused by the beamsplitter tilt can be eliminated using a compensation plate.
- Can be used for any polarization. However, the transmittance characteristics depend on the polarization state.
- A variable attenuator (SVAB) for lasers is also available, which is unitized using this variable beam splitter.
- * When using for high power laser, make sure to terminate the reflected light.
- * Reflectivity characteristics may change when the device becomes hot.
- * When the incident angle is changed to adjust the transmittance, the amount of translation of the transmitted light beam also changes.
- * Use a compensation plate (WSQNA/WBNA) to restore this translation.
- * If a laser beam of φ30 mm or more is injected and the beam splitter is tilted significantly, the output beam may be missing.
- * When used with P-polarized light, an incidence angle greater than 45 degrees is required.
