Features
- Since a dichroic dye film is used, good linear polarization can be extracted over a wide range.
- It can be used for basic polarization experiments that do not require precision or for light adjustment using polarization.
- The polarizing film is sandwiched between glass plates for protection, so it does not scratch easily and can wipe away dirt.
- Since it is fixed to the frame, handling of the element is easy, and fixing to the holder is easy.
- Available in 3 types: visible, ultraviolet, and infrared.
- Anti-reflection film is applied on both sides to reduce light returning to the light source and stray light.
- Also available is the Grantmson Prism (GTPC), which provides a high extinction ratio and transmittance.
- * 2 In addition to the polarization characteristics, chromatic dye-polarized films lose light due to absorption.
- * Do not use this product near a high-power laser or a light source that is subject to high temperature since a heat-sensitive resin film is used.
- * The extinction ratio varies with the wavelength, so violet light may be observed when the light is extinguished.
- * The mark in the frame is perpendicular to the direction of transmission polarization.
