Features
- Polarization beam splitter that widens the wavelength band for polarization separation.
- It can be used for experiments using multi-wavelength lasers or continuous spectrum light sources.
- By transmitting P-polarized light and reflecting S-polarized light, the polarization state of the incident light can be divided into orthogonal components.
- Since a dielectric multilayer film is used for coating, light loss is small and polarization can be separated efficiently.
- Since it is a cube type, the optical axis of the emitted light will not be translated if the beam is incident perpendicularly. Also, even if a beam of the same size as the effective diameter is injected, the transmitted or reflected light will not be lost or reduced.
- In combination with a polarizer and a broadband 1/2 wavelength plate, it is possible to make a variable light quantity branching device independent of wavelength.
- A Grantomson Prism (GTPC) with a high extinction ratio is also available.

- * The extinction ratio of reflected light is slightly lower than that of transmitted light.
- * Wavelength dispersion occurs in transmitted and reflected light due to the refractive index of the material and the thickness of the glass. In addition, chromatic aberration and spherical aberration may occur when a converging or diverging beam is injected.
