  • The chromium film is very thinly undercoated to strengthen the film adhesion of the gold film.
  • Silicon substrates have very strong adhesion of gold film, high thermal conductivity (approximately 111 times better heat dissipation than glass), and superior heat resistance compared to glass substrates.
  • Since it is a metal coating, the reflectivity and reflectivity wavelength characteristics do not change significantly depending on the incident angle.
  • Gold coat has very high reflectivity in the infrared.
  • Any light that is not reflected is absorbed by the film and does not pass through.
