Features
- Working in volcanic areas is hazardous because of exposure to sulfur dioxide. The Kitagawa-type sulfur dioxide monitor TPA-5300P is small and lightweight, so it is suitable for use during work. At a concentration of 2ppm or more, alarm sounds and vibration alarms (The alarm may not be heard in places with noise, which may delay the perception of danger.) can be used to alert the user of danger in advance, to encourage evacuation, and to detect only sulfur dioxide caused by gas poisoning. The power supply of this device is a dry battery (the battery indicator is always displayed) and can be easily replaced on site even if the battery is exhausted due to an alarm.
