• Operation Methods (Alternate and Momentary): There are a wide variety of push-button switches that are primarily used as changeover switches on boards. There are also two types of switch operation. The type that turns on when you press it once and turns off when you press it twice is called "alternate" and the type that turns on only when you press it is called "momentary."
