• Designed primarily for the electrical supply industry, these ties are particularly useful where space is at a premium due to their low profile "parallel entry" closure. The outside of the tie is serrated to prevent damage to the cable. Made of "UV" resistant polyamide, ideal for outdoor use. C SL series cable ties are made of nylon 6.6. Nylon 6.6 is often used when high mechanical strength, rigidity and excellent stability are required under heat and chemical resistance. Cable ties meet EDF requirements (HN -33 S-62 specification, April 1997).
