- Copal Electronics ’ optical rotary encoders are part of the RE30E series and have a resolution of 1000 revolutions per revolution. The principle of operation is when LED light passing through the slit of the rotating disk activates the optical sensor. The output of the photosensor, which is a pseudo sine wave, is shaped into a square wave by a voltage comparator and supplied to a logic circuit. 0 index signal with temperature compensation circuit.Operating temperature range: 0 → 70 °C.IP 40 protection class.Very economical RoHS compliant (as of October 2022).
