• A boiling point thermometer is a kind of maximum thermometer similar to a mercury thermometer. A narrow part called a boiling point is provided at the top of a glass tube sphere. When the temperature rises, the mercury passes through the boiling point, but when the temperature falls, the mercury breaks at the boiling point and the mercury above the boiling point cannot go down.
• Before use, mercury remaining on the boiling point can be returned to the ball through the boiling point by swinging down.
• Shake down the thermometer and fill the bulb with mercury before use.
