• Detection range: Asbestos containing 2% or more of asbestos (asbestos) for material level 1 (sprayed materials containing asbestos), material level 2 (Asbestos-containing fire-resistant coatings, asbestos-containing insulation, and asbestos-containing insulation) and material level 3 (other molded plates containing asbestos) in the thorough manual on measures to prevent asbestos spatter leakage (the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, 2.20 Edition, March 2018).

• *This product uses a patented technology (Patents 6781441 and 6864892) developed by the Health and Environment Center of the Hiroshima Prefectural Institute of Advanced Technology and is based on a license agreement with Hiroshima Prefecture.
• *This product is a simplified analysis product (it is not a substitute for official analysis methods). It can not be used for preliminary surveys as prescribed by the Air Pollution Control Act, measurements as prescribed by the Asbestos Hazard Prevention Rules, or reports to the government.
• *The absence of color does not indicate the absence of asbestos. Also, the percentage of asbestos content can not be measured.
• *It may be difficult to determine if there are colors derived from building materials.
• *To prevent exposure to asbestos, be sure to wear appropriate protective equipment and pay close attention to safety.
• *This product is sold/used only in Japan.
