• 8-bit serial input/parallel output shift register
• The HC595 is an 8 bit serial in, parallel out D-type storage register with parallel 3 state outputs. The clock is supplied to both the shift register and the storage register. The shift register has an override clear (SRCLR) input, a serial (SER) input, and a serial output for cascading.　When the output enable (OE) input is high, the output is in a high impedance state.
