• The HC245 is designed for asynchronous bidirectional communication between data buses. Implementing control features minimizes external timing requirements. These devices allow data to be sent from the A bus to the B bus or from the B bus to the A bus, depending on the logical level of the directional control (DIR) input. You can use output enable (OE) input to disable the device and effectively isolate the bus.
