• Since it has superior strength compared to the cellulose mixed ester type, it is easy to handle when the filter is set in the filter, and can withstand autoclave sterilization, ethylene oxide gas sterilization, and dry heat sterilization (180°C).
• Because the material is inert, proteins and other components of the filter are rarely adsorbed on the filter.
• It is more resistant to alcohols than the cellulose mixed ester type.
