- The sample is pretreated with sulfuric acid, ammonia generated from amino nitrogen is converted to ammonium sulfate in total, and the sample aqueous solution is prepared in a steam flask 6, and caustic soda is added to make it alkaline.
- In the distillation flask 17, prepare a specified amount of sulfuric acid so that the tip is immersed.
- All ammonia vapor generated by heating the steam flask 6 is absorbed by sulfuric acid.
- Take a part of the absorbent solution and analyze ammonium ion from the consumption of sulfuric acid by neutralization titration or spectrophotometry.
- It is widely used in agricultural chemistry.
